ive didnt see this one, but heard about someone getting an ecto drop in Pre-Searing, so why wouldnt it happen?

This wasnt my LOLWTF moment, but was helping a buddy do Divinity Coast Mission, NM, and he got a ruby drop from one of those fire imps.

Pretty sure the "ecto drop" in pre-searing= lies or was transferred in during the gh exploit and which most likely got banned if they didn't move it back to post.

Fire Imps DO occasionally drop Rubies. They DO NOT drop Ecto.

No, youre not. And the thing in Pre-searing didnt happen either, so thats why it didnt happen.

All the monsters that can drop crafting materials have a very, very slim chance of dropping Rubies and Sapphires.

My biggest LOLWTF moment was when I was over at my friends house with crappy internet... I was in some HM place, and I lagged while running. Welllll, apparently i ran into a huge mob, died, ressed, died, ressed, died, and ressed during the lag. But when i unlagged, i was like, LOLWTF, cuz hundreds if not thousands of numbers popped up at once and i ressed and died 3 times in less than a second... Was pretty crazy.

Thats the only time I've ever lagged while in combat so it was pretty funny.

this happens when an enemy has an autofind path thats too far for a given period of time and cant harm you. the enemy will go into evade mode until struck with an attack in melee range, or at a certain point after you begin making its redbar go down.

i think they did this to prevent rangers or casters from killing stuff in certain spots in the game where enemies cant hit you back. but yeah it would be nice if they realised when they can hit you again and went back into attack mode

i was doing a pro uw sc about 2 months ago and we took a pug to do mtn. he failed without leaving chamber...after 3 rez scrolls...so we left him dead. we ran out of cons before escort and slayer...after 30 minutes (because no one was smart enough to bring another set) we finally finished. we all got garbage...like double diamonds and scrolls around...and the mtn guy pops 2x eblades...i hovered one and it was r9 but i didn't see the 2nd.

definate wtf moment. he said something in french or something and left.

then i saw an afflicted in factions drop an ecto...it was like a lvl 18 on nub island. i took a screenshot of it but it's on my laptop...i'll try to upload it later.

Here's another good one. I was doing Project G.O.L.E.M. with the deputy leader of my guild. We went around and killed off all the Destroyers to cut down on the number of mobs attacking us, took our positions, and fended off the assaults, then went in and finished the quest. My guildmate got killed once during the quest.

The LOLWTF moment? She found out afterwards that she'd been fighting Destroyers the whole time with a pair of Thunderfist's Brass Knuckles. And she only got killed ONCE.

I really wish I had taken a screen shot. I've done a ton of raptor farming and never seen anything like that.

So i'm in a CoF run, and a guy tries to sell me his mesmer tome (reg). I say how much, then he says 6k. I then tell him to subtract 5.5k off of that and theres a fair price, and he tells me that it says 6k on wiki. He then refuses to admit that he's wrong, and I dont get my mes tome.

Also the guy selling the mini fungal wallow for 100k +1350e

I am waiting for this screen of an ecto drop from afflicted.

You know ectos drop from elite warriors in AB as well. I should have a pick somewhere but I cannot find it now....

I think I had my biggest LOLWTF moment while reading some of the posts on GURU than actually playing the game...

Running a fiery burst spike in HA, discovering that all teams forgot about/didn't know what to do with their res orbs.

So we took them and we had 3 orbs.
